At restaurant ‘Rebelz aan de Rotte’ in Rotterdam (the Netherlands), you eat in a piece of art and support a social purpose.
The 27th of February restaurant ‘Rebelz aan de Rotte’ opened. An extraordinary restaurant in many ways: the interior, the kitchen and the staff. The restaurant seats about 70 guests that can go there to have lunch, high tea or dinner. They also cater meetings and parties. In the summer there will be a terrace on a pontoon where people can dock their boats.

On Saturday November 17, International Club The Hague will open her doors officially. This is an informal social club for expats, and the family and friends of these internationals in The Hague, located in the former city hall at the Javastraat. International Club The Hague features a restaurant, including a chef’s table, a bar, a wine cellar, tv room, smoker’s lounge, library and a children’s room. The ice hotel in Québec in Canada, called Hotel de Glace, is the most famous hotel, which opens each winter since 2001. Coming winter this hotel opens its door on January 5 till March 24. In the Swedish village Jukkasjärvi, the ice hotel opens already on December 7. It features also a bar and several ice sculptures created by several artists.
Mellow Mushroom has grown to 130 stores in over 100 U.S. cities and wanted to get more followers on Twitter. The pizza chain launched a campaign ‘if you follow us, we’ll follow you’, to make a chance to win free pizza for a year. The Dutch manufacturer Movuz is specialized in stainless steel mobile kitchen systems for both professional and private use. They introduced an innovative new concept, called the ’95-Range’, which entails several different mobile units such as a Beermobil, a Cookmobil (which includes a teppan yaki system) and a Coolmobil.
Since the end of October, bistro ‘Meneer van Dijk’ (in English Mister van Dijk) opened its doors inside a fashion store, located in Waalwijk (Netherlands) to create a total experience for the guests and shopping clients. Special and fresh local products will be served and the coffee will be made by a barista. The bistro is open 7 days a week.
