Food sculptures or designer cakes, some show an artistic and architectural approach to food like the KUFcakes. These are bespoke luxury cakes designed in close conjunction with the client. KUF stands for Kia Utzon-Frank who designs and creates her cakes by using a marzipan printer that creates patterns and imagery onto marzipan and fondant and cover the cakes to make edible sculptures that fit their surroundings. The artist indicates that taste is as important as the look. She hopes that the KUFcakes will make people curious and that the cakes will trigger them to start a conversation.
Zip line off the Eiffel tower

The 800 metres long zip line trip takes less than a minute, you’re done before you know. Deliveroo | Your favorite dishes also to order for a picnic

Throughout the year, Deliveroo delivers the dishes of your favorite local restaurant to everyone’s kitchen table, couch, bed or office. This spring, the delivery service will launch its improved GPS delivery. To date, the delivery service was only limited to the delivery of food at several parcs. From this year onwards, via GDP-coordinates, Deliveroo will also deliver meals in different areas such as picnic areas, to a boat or to a seat by the water.
Domino’s Pizza robots are going to deliver pizzas

Starship Technologies, the company that develops robots that can deliver independent products, has announced that their robots will deliver pizzas in different European cities. This in collaboration with Domino’s Pizza Enterprises (DPE), Domino’s Pizza’s leading franchisee in for example the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The ‘Domino’s Pizza robots’ project is part of the DRU (Domino’s Robotic Unit)-framework, an initiative that works towards the ‘goal’ of delivering pizzas by using robots.

Subway’s Facebook Messenger ordering bot | Launched in the United States

Last week, Subway launched a bot for Facebook Messenger that allows guests to order sandwiches and salads from more than 26,500 Subway restaurants in the U.S. The first-of-its-kind sandwich ordering bot was announced at the F8 Facebook Developer Conference with Agilitee, one of Subway’s digital partners, and is the latest innovation from Subway® Digital. Guests can use Subway’s Facebook Messenger ordering bot to order a sandwich or salad, customize it with their favorite bread; cheese; vegetables; and sauce, to pay on any device that supports Messenger. The bot is the latest addition to the brand’s mobile order systems that includes web ordering and app ordering.
