Fastaway is a new app where you can order and pick up food and drinks at train stations. The app targets busy train travelers, and is developed to avoid long queues. Furthermore the app allows people to pick up their orders at participating stores directly. By this way they will never miss a train connection anymore. The app is not live yet and is planning to launch in September.

Sam Eerdmans and Florian Fermin are founders of the app. It all started with a school assignment but now they are working full time on this project. Currently over 250 shopping locations (including The Doner Company and Eazie) have announced to participate during the launch of the app in September this year.

The app is easy to work with: you create an account with your name or mobile number and indicate where you are traveling. Then you will get a list of stores participating at the location your traveling to. Find your store, make an order, select a pickup time and pay. When you exit the train, you can pick up your order immediately and continue your journey. No more queues!
