  • A special wellness resort, built within a year with a lot of shared details on the Instagram account of Long Lane. An idea of Harrison Hide.
  • Also via Instagram: Espresso Martini flights and ‘smores kits at Concorde Espresso Bar in Wilmington North Carolina. Great idea for a summer terrace!

Benefit dinner for ‘Make a Memory’ at restaurant EDEN (*) in Valkenswaard

Restaurant EDEN (*) in Valkenswaard will host a special benefit dinner on Wednesday May 22nd. Chef and owner Herman Cooijmans and Make a Memory are joining forces to raise money for the foundation, which photographs seriously ill, terminally ill and deceased children at the request of parents and through the mediation of care professionals. Michelin-starred chef Herman Cooijmans has personal reasons to make his restaurant available to Make a Memory completely free of charge and to work as an ambassador for the foundation. Tables are available from two people upwards and the cost per cover is 250 euros. All proceeds will benefit Make a Memory. Reservations can be made by sending an email to edwaal@makeamemory.nl. Blue Wellness reaches 5-year milestone in health and wellness

This year marks BLUE Wellness, Spa and Beauty’s fifth anniversary! BLUE is the wellness concept of Fletcher Hotels, consisting of several wellness, spa & beauty locations and its own product line. What once started with three BLUE locations has now grown into five luxury resorts, one wellness, two small-scale spas and one beauty salon. Obviously a milestone for Fletcher, something they want to celebrate with their guests. For example, their guests can benefit from an entrance deal that includes a total of 5 tickets from 18 April to 20 May 2024. Heineken official main sponsor of the tenth edition of SAIL Amsterdam 2025

The tenth edition of SAIL Amsterdam will be made possible with the help of Heineken. The Amsterdam beer brewer will be the official sponsor of the largest event in the Netherlands, which will take place from Wednesday 20 to Sunday August 24th in 2025. Amsterdam will then be dedicated to fraternizing on and around the water for five days, welcoming more than 800 ships, lots of crew members and over two million visitors from all over the world. They will come together to celebrate nautical history; worldviews from every corner of the world will converge on the IJ.

The Boring Phone doesn’t distract us from what’s in front of us, our friends

Dutch beer brand Heineken® and US brand and retail marketplace Bodega have launched ‘The Boring Phone’, to help people discover there is more to their social life when there is less on their phone. Produced by Human Mobile Devices (HMD), ‘The Boring Phone’ takes things back to basics with no access to the internet, social media or other apps. The device was shown for the first time on Thursday 18th April at a pop-up Bodega at Milan Design Week; the world’s leading festival for design and innovation. A great collab! | Invite an award winning chef to share one of his recipes

A great collab, we would love to see a collab of this kind in the Netherlands as well! Fatto a Mano is joining forces with Naples’ Master Pizzaiolo, Franco Pepe, in a first-of-its-kind collaboration.  Franco Pepe was the recipient of the ‘World’s Best Pizza Chef’ title at the Best Chef Awards in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Franco Pepe will share the recipe for his famed Margherita Sbagliata pizza with Fatto a Mano, which will then fastidiously recreate it using the same ingredients and method. Paris Baguette teams up with Paris Saint-Germain to broadcast its “Let’s Paris” ad around the world

Paris Baguette has released its “Let’s Paris” ad video, in collaboration with Paris Saint-Germain, the most successful football club in France, to both Korean and global audiences. The ‘Let’s Paris’ video is themed around the favorite picks of Paris Saint-Germain’s star players. The players featured in this video happily enjoy the flavors of Paris Baguette’s newest breads, adding an extra spark to their tasting adventure.  Walt Disney Studios in Disneyland Paris will be renamed Disney Adventure World

After transporting generations of guests into the magic of movie-making, the second park at Disneyland Paris is entering a new era marked by a fresh creative vision, brand-new experiences, an expansion on a never-before-seen scale and the introduction of an all-new visual identity. To celebrate this new chapter, Walt Disney Studios Park will be renamed Disney Adventure World when World of Frozen, a new immersive area dedicated to the wintery world of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen will come to life, bordering a majestic bay.
