According to SiteMinder’s Changing Traveller Report 2023, 66% of surveyed guests believed that their booking and on-site experience could be better if the hotel incorporated more technology. They’re quick, informed, and they know exactly what they want for their hotel experience. They are the future of travel, and as a hotelier, you need to keep up with this speedy digital transformation in order for your business to survive.

New Stars & Awards – MICHELIN Guide Germany 2024

March 26th Michelin revealed the new restaurant selection for The MICHELIN Guide Germany at their launch event in Hamburg, press release can be found in the link in the title. One restaurant got his third star: ES:SENZ Restaurant in Grasse. The complete list can be found here, in total Germany now has:

  • 10 restaurants with Three MICHELIN Stars (including 1 new)
  • 50 restaurants with Two MICHELIN Stars (including 3 new)
  • 280 restaurants with One MICHELIN Star (including 32 new)
  • 77 restaurants with a MICHELIN Green Star (including 10 new)
  • 199 Bib Gourmand restaurants (including 15 new)

A huge urban theme park is coming to east London May 2024

Taking entertainment to a whole new level (literally), Gravity MAX will be spread across three floors; each filled to the brim with immersive entertainment. According to Secret London, link to their article in the title, you can expect digital darts, karaoke booths, E-Karting, action-packed VR activities and the old-school arcade games and fairground favorites.

Peet’s Coffee celebrates Earth Month with sustainability efforts, discounts and initiatives

As Earth Month (April 2024) begins, Peet’s Coffee is increasing the discount for customers who bring their own cup (BYOC) to 25 cents. The BYOC discount* will be permanent across Peet’s coffeebars and apply to any drink, hot or cold. (check out the * in their press release). In another step to reduce single-use, disposable packaging, Peet’s is also officially bringing back porcelain cups. “Dine-in” cups were shelved during the pandemic, but by the end of 2024, Peet’s will have reusable, porcelain “dine-in” cup options across all its locations.

On April 1st BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse introduced their new Pizookie® | The Pizickle!

Yesterday, Monday April 1st 2024, BJ’s Restaurants debuted an ultra-limited edition of its world-famous Pizookie®—the Pizickle Pizookie®! This crazy-yet-somehow-delicious version of BJ’s world-famous Pizookie® topped with dill pickle slices boldly goes where no Pizookie® has gone before. For one day only on April 1, guests dining in, or ordering take out or delivery through the BJ’s Restaurants mobile app or website could enjoy a Pizickle Pizookie® or a FREE Pizookie® of ANY flavor with a minimum purchase. Sézanne in Tokyo claims no1 spot at Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants

The prestigious ceremony, sponsored by by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, was held in collaboration with host destination partners Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) and the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Check the full list here and their press release in the link in the title.

Restaurant Sézanne is helmed by chef Daniel Calvert and offers neo-French cuisine that showcases modern classics with expert precision, incorporating high-quality Japanese ingredients.
