Another very ‘Instagrammable’ product: Matte black latte! Round K Coffee Roasters has been roasting coffee beans from around the globe since 2015. Owner OCKHYEON BYEON developed the wholesale system with their signature blends that are crafted to create holistic and immersive cultural experiences, like the ‘Matte black latte’, ‘the Wasabi latte’ and an ‘Egg Cappuccino’. Their  philosophy is incorporating space, atmosphere, mood, and flavor into the making of coffee. Each coffee bean is different and so is the roasting process. The café is reminiscent of Dah-Bahn (Korean coffee shops) and is inspired by the stories of older generations of South Korea. Hanoi House in New York | Here they serve egg coffee

You might think, the combination of egg’s in coffee will not be tasteful at all, but Vietnam locals are drinking it for decades. The texture of the egg yolk is perfect to make a great creamy foam layer. In 2013, a couple brought it to Manhattan in New York, where they opened their own Vietnamese café named Hanoi House. Cafés-Canton | French coffee from the Vosges

Last week we were invited to taste Cafes-Canton coffee. A delicious ‘slow roast’ coffee by a small family company in the Vosges (France). Jan-Willem van Rijn, owner of Barista Café Haarlem, has made the ‘tasting notes’ of all their coffees. We tasted the espresso and although we are not real coffee connoisseurs, we could completely find ourselves in Jan-Willem’s final conclusion: an adult espresso. The Cone Masters | Coffee in a cone now available in Amsterdam

Last year September we wrote about the Instagram hashtag #coffeeinacone. The idea to serve coffee in a cone comes from South Africa. In January 2016 Dayne Levinrad uploaded his first photo with this hashtag. It is now possible to drink a coffee in a cone at pop-up store The Cone Masters located at Vijzelgracht 41 in Amsterdam.
