During the month December, Bagels & Beans in the Netherlands will be sharing their warmth in a very special way. In addition to bagels, coffee & happiness, they will now also literally share ‘warmth’. They will do so with something that many take for granted: a pair of socks.
For the heartwarming campaign ‘Who will you give warm feet? Share the warmth!” Bagels & Beans has joined forces with ‘Let’s do Goods’ and created unique Latte Art socks. For every pair of Latte Art socks sold, Bagels & Beans and ‘Let’s do Goods’ will donate a pair of socks to someone who desperately needs them. The goal is to work together with all bagel fans to provide as much warm feet as possible to homeless people in the Netherlands.

Update January 15: As a result of the December campaign ‘Who do you give warm feet? Share the warmth!’ Bagels & Beans has donated 5,000 pairs of new socks to homeless people in the Netherlands. In the week of January 8, the special donation socks were handed over to the Salvation Army locations in Utrecht, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

Latte Art socks | Donation is ‘heart’ needed

Having a pair of socks seems common. But unfortunately socks are not so common for everyone. In fact, socks are the least donated garment, even though the demand for them is huge. In the Netherlands, some people still depend on clothing donations. That’s why Bagels & Beans and ‘Let’s do Goods’ have joined forces to spread the heat and make the world a little nicer one sock at a time. For every pair of Bagels & Beans Latte Art socks sold, one pair of socks will also be donated to someone in need. The text continues below the video.

Free socks when you purchase a reusable cup

The special edition Latte Art socks from Bagels & Beans are produced by ‘Let’s do Goods’ in Portugal and available as a one-size-fits-all for any foot. Those who purchase the collectors’ items separately will pay no more than €9.95 and with the purchase of a Bagels & Beans gift card from €50, you receive a pair for free. That makes such a gift all the more heartwarming. In addition, anyone who purchases ‘Warm Hands’ in the form of a reusable mug for your coffee or tea will also receive a pair of Latte Art socks. Warm feet and warm hands, in the Bagels & Beans style.

Share the warmth

Sharing in its simplicity is something precious and therefore beautiful. Bagels & Beans believes in the power of pausing for a moment and a small gesture can bring a lot of happiness. Especially in the December month, which everyone experiences differently. By sharing the warmth and involving everyone, Bagels & Beans is making many feet-, and heartwarming gestures to a group of people in the dark December month.

How many warm feet?

All throughout December, special Latte Art socks are available at every Bagels & Beans restaurant. They are the perfect gift for the holidays and with every purchase, one additional pair is donated to those in need. So with one pair of socks the warmth is shared twice. Everyone can join Bagels & Beans and ‘Let’s do Goods’ in contributing to additional warm feet in the Netherlands. The only question that remains: who will you give warm feet? In mid-January, Bagels & Beans and ‘Let’s do Goods’ will announce how many pairs of feet can expect a warming donation.

About Let’s do Goods

Let’s do Goods’ makes unique socks with “3rd-party artists.” Artists who experienced misfortune in their lives (homelessness, psychiatry and/or addiction). For every pair of socks sold, they make an additional pair of ‘donation socks’ in their own social sock factory. Together with unoccupied people, they make the best socks in the world. Socks that are then given away to the poorest of the poor.
