On the 24th of March it will be the National Pancake Day in the Netherlands. On this day, elementary school students throughout the country will be baking pancakes for elderly in their neighbourhood. Pancake Puppies
American coffee shop and restaurant chain Denny’s has Pancake Puppies on their menu. The puppies are similar to donuts but are actually pancake bulbs mixed with blueberries. Muffin Pancake
The pancakes can also be baked in small muffin tins as the video of tiphero shows. The pancake batter is poured into a muffin pan which results in small, bite-sized pancakes. You can also give a twist to it by adding chocolate to the batter.
Pancake in a cone
Nowadays, it seems that everything is served in the form of a cone. Pizza, cappuccino, we all have seen them pass by. Dominique Ansel came up with an example of a Nutella crepe in a cone.
