Nowadays, we spend about 90% of our time indoors even though we know that being close to nature is good for our mental and physical health. That is why the team of Ecobloom tried to find funding for their smart and interactive ecosystem, EcoGarden. Based on the ancient, unique growing method known as ‘Aquaponics’, which uses fish waste as the nutrient source for the plants. The plants naturally filter the water, which is circulated back into the aquarium. Within a week, the full 100% funding for the Ecogarden of Ecobloom at Kickstarter has been reached.

September 6th, Starbucks opened their new coffee establishment Reserve Roastery Milan. Instead of targeting the more accessible coffee to-go market in America, they chose to try to penetrate the more conservative Italian market. The Reserve Roastery in Milan will be located in a former post office at the edge of the Piazzo Cordusio in Milan. In this spectacular building, Starbucks will try to show its craftsmanship and its ability to innovate to a broader audience in Southern Europe. Starbucks has opened a similar concept in Seattle in 2014 and one in Shanghai in 2017. So if you are curious for this new coffee experience, you do not have to travel all the way to America or China anymore, you can experience it in Milan as well.

These fresh fruit cocktails come in a bottle complete with ice cubes and without any chemical ingredients. Founders Josef Klemm, Saif Hamed and Andy Romanowski have launched a small revolution on the European drinks market by replacing artificially made mixed drinks in cans with the fresh fruit cocktails in bottles. With an alcohol content of 10.3% the kukki range includes seven, vegan, gluten-free and, above all, refreshingly delicious cocktail classics. With names like ‘Sex On The Beach’, ‘Boston’, ‘Ladykiller’, ‘Mule’, ‘Mint Passion’, ‘El Presidente’ and ‘Winter Spiced Apple’. All the cocktails are bottled to comply with high European standards at the kukki factory in Berlin.
