Restaurants of THE ENTOURAGE GROUP of Amsterdam celebrate International Women’s Day

On March 8th, we celebrate the strength, passion, and achievements of women worldwide during International Women’s Day. To honor yourself, your partner, or any woman around you, THE ENTOURAGE GROUP of Amsterdam has made it a weekend event from March 8th to 10th, where you can enjoy the tastiest dishes, desserts, and of course, drinks to raise a toast to women. Check out which restaurants are part of this group on their website, link in the title.

Including THE DUCHESS, where they serve an Ice Cream Lady (a purple Paris-Brest). And at IZAKAYA Asian Kitchen & Bar, they serve Rosé Amabuki Sake. This drink is brewed with blossom yeast from Nadeshiko and gets its unmistakable rosé hue from the addition of a black rice variety.

Starbucks debuts ‘inclusive spaces framework’ in Washington, D.C. store

A new store in Washington, D.C., is the first location built using the new framework including accessible features like optimized acoustics, power-operated doors, improved features for customers with low vision and more. Starbucks Coffee Company recently announced that it is creating a more accessible store experience across its U.S. store portfolio through an Inclusive Spaces Framework. Building on the company’s commitment to inclusion, the new design framework defines how Starbucks will help expand independence, choice and ease for all people across physical and digital spaces. Coffee omakase

Ever heard of Coffee Omakase? We spotted the omakase on an Instagram post by Vanessa Techapichetvanich. She shows the Coffee omakase of Cokuun, a coffeeshop in the Tokyo district Omotesando, Japan. Miki Suzuki is a 3-time Barista Champion of Japan and she serves each coffee with special tea ceremony utensils. On the menu, Glühwein coffee, filtered coffee, mocktail, umami milk and a sorbet to clean your palette. According to Vanessa, the umami milk tasted like a sweet apple pie. A Pokémon Center pop-up is arriving in London this spring. On April 4-7, the ExCeL London centre will become a hub for those dressed as trainers and Pokémon alike (or those coming with a blank canvas to sort their outfit of Pokémon merch there!). Reserving a time slot is required to manage crowding. More details in the article of Secret London, link in the title.

Brioche Croissants from Amsterdam

Brioche Croissants, we have written about them before in a blog by Marjolein van Spronsen. They were called Broissants and served in a pop-up in The Landmark hotel.
