New cocktail lounge in NYC, The Ruby, is taking the cocktail shaker into the kitchen for their most remarkable dish: the Shaken Cacio e Pepe. The recipe for joy this Holiday Season by KFC

Kentucky Fried Chicken® is serving up extra joy this season with a new holiday bucket design and matching holiday merch collection. National Pickle Day | Celebrate it with The Original Pickle Shot®

November 14 is National Pickle Day, as mentioned before, the USA has ‘National Days’ for everything you can imagine. In the link in the title you can read a press release about the way you can celebrate it with The Original Pickle Shot. This drink is unique by using a proprietary pickle brine and 30-proof five-times distilled Iowa corn vodka to create the brand’s signature recipe, and is available in original and spicy flavors (in both 750ml and 50ml bottles, and soon 375ml). The Original Pickle Shot is a carefully crafted ready-to-pour vodka with an opaque light green color and dill pickle taste. More details in the press release.

Free Fries Friday at McDonald’s

McDonald’s USA recently announced that customers enrolled in its rewards program are eligible to receive “free medium fries with any $1 minimum purchase” via the app, which is valid every Friday now through December 31, 2023. You can, as the app reads, “Make it fry day with a friend.” More details in the article at Food and Wine, linked in the title or at their website. We think a lot of fans from other countries would love a Free Fries Friday as well!

The Balloon Museum opened in New York

Recently the Balloon Museum in NYC at 299 South Street, opened. They already have one other location in Naples (Florida) and lots of locations worldwide coming soon, check out the link in the title. It’s Good | A platform for positive restaurant reviews only

‘It’s Good’ is a restaurant review platform, currently in development, that will only allow positive reviews about a restaurant. How can you trust restaurant reviews if they are only positive? Well, the value lies, not only in the detail of the review, but in the value of the trusted network of users. There is a certain exclusivity to the user base, you will have to be invited, to a network of foodies, chefs, celebrities and influencers, basically, people who care about and love good food and service and once part of the network you can use ‘It’s Good’ to share your tips, insights and experiences about the food places you love. Chefs’ Table Top | New hospitality wholesaler of distinctive dinnerware, glasses and cutlery

Chefs’ Table Top is, according to initiator Van der Kroft Events, the new partner for distinctive catering service. Van der Kroft Events is a rental company for event catering and ambiance design. With the choice of Fine Dining & Living’s brands, they now offer the option to purchase in addition to rental. “With this we strengthen our service to our relations and appeal to other hospitality segments. We stay close to our identity, experience and especially the market we know and serve”, stated by Willem van Essen of Van der Kroft Events. As they already have the brands in rental, the quality has already proven itself for intensive hospitality use.
