Salsa Shop opens flagship store in Amsterdam
Salsa Shop opened its largest and most ambitious location to date in Amsterdam’s Reguliersbreestraat at the end of March. The Mexican fast-casual chain’s flagship store ventures into one of Amsterdam’s busiest restaurant streets as a Dutch company. Salsa Shop’s new location covers 240 square meters and can accommodate 90 guests. This is not only the largest location to date, but also the first to introduce a new operational system. For the first time, two separate ‘make lines’ will be put into operation – one for orders at the counter and one for kiosk orders. This will further optimize the flow. In addition, the flagship store will introduce a grab & go, where pre-packed dishes such as burritos and salads can be taken away immediately. This makes it even easier to enjoy the fresh, Mexican cuisine on the go. The rebranding in new colours has also been applied here.
The opening of the flagship store (their 17th branch in the Netherlands) is a strategic move for Salsa Shop’s future. The chain’s ambition is to eventually become the largest Mexican fast-casual formula on continental Europe. More information on their website, link in title.

On Instagram to be found as Sproomz Fresh Mushrooms. More information on their website, link in the title.
* Yukiguni Maitake will change its name in April 2025 to Yukiguni Factory.

Already represented in popular destinations such as Paris, Krakow, San Francisco, Sydney and Singapore, the brand is now taking the next step in the Netherlands with the opening of the Grand Canal Boutique Hotel Amsterdam – Handwritten Collection and the Le Marin Boutique Hotel Rotterdam – Handwritten Collection.
