The Ice Cream Project by Anya Hindmarch is open in the Village Hall at 11 Pont Street in London until August 28th , and they introduce a very special flavour line up. The Ice Cream Project is the latest concept store at The Village – offering a collection of unexpectedly delicious ice creams and sorbets celebrating Anya Hindmarch’s favourite cult food brands.

We did spot this spectacular ice cream project on Instagram and we wonder if these flavours would be inspiration for other ice cream parlours? And we have spotted a lot of ice cream inspiration but these flavours are special!

The Ice Cream Project by Anaya Hindmarch

Set to be the coolest place to visit in London this summer, the Ice Cream Project by Anya Hindmarch is a minimalist temple to the joy of ice cream and sorbet, but with a difference. Sleek silver freezers line the walls, stacked with ice cream pots printed with household names more typically found in the pantry than the freezer…. savoury sauces, condiments, tea, breakfast cereals and even baked beans. The bravest can also experiment with individual scoops to make their own unusual combinations.

Anaya Hindmarch about this project

Anaya “Making ‘everyday things in an extraordinary way’ has always been a passion of mine and is the reason why I love to play with iconic brands. The Ice-cream Project sets out to challenge perceptions, working with the most sophisticated ingredients and recipes in an artful way.”

Each unexpectedly delicious flavour, which is hand-made in small batches in Devon, is available by the scoop or in 500ml tubs to take away. Perfect for summer days and as a present for the curious epicurean in your life. A selection of the Anya Brands accessories collection which inspired this idea will also be available in store.

Anya Hindmarch founded her business in London in 1987 and it has since grown into a global brand. Today, it is as known for its luxury, organisation-obsessed accessories as it is for its groundbreaking work in sustainability and its playful experiential retail concepts. The Village, which she launched in 2021, is one of most ambitious retail developments in the UK, comprised of five unique storefronts on London’s Pont Street: The Anya Café – an all-day café at the heart of The Village inspired by the quintessential British café of old but reimagined with the brands’ trademark humour. The Village Hall – an ever-evolving concept space launching as the ‘Anya Hair Salon – Shampoo & Therapy’ to celebrate the publication of the Designers first book, ‘If In Doubt, Wash Your Hair.’ The Plastic Store – a space to showcase and collaborate with others focused on issues of sustainability, circularity and the reduction of plastic consumption. The Labelled Store – a store dedicated to the art of organisation, offering Hindmarch’s best-selling Labelled collection (a system of cases and bags that are, quite literally, labelled to keep you organised). And the Bespoke Store – the original Bespoke store will continue to offer personalised pieces designed to mark special moments in time and be handed down through the generations.

Check out the flavour line up below this Instagram post about the High Tea at The Anya Café or another post about a very appealing pop-up they organized at the Village, Anya Houndmarch concept store.
