eSIM for hotel guests at Corendon Hotels & Resorts
The new eSIM for hotel guests service is now live at The College Hotel Amsterdam, Corendon Amsterdam New-West, Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, and Sonesta Hotels & Resorts Livingstone Curaçao. Through QR codes placed at visible touchpoints throughout the hotel, such as the lobby, elevators, and reception desk, guests can instantly access mobile data packages.
According to Martijn van der Ven, founder of OWN eSIM, international travelers expect seamless connectivity without relying on Wi-Fi or local telecom providers. By integrating eSIM technology into the hotel journey, staying connected becomes as effortless as checking in.
Mobile data available instantly
With this service, guests no longer need to purchase physical SIM cards or visit local telecom shops. Instead, they can simply select, activate, and use a data bundle directly from their smartphone. This not only makes traveling easier, but also reduces dependence on public Wi-Fi networks.
“With PearlMobiel, we add mobile connectivity to the travel experience in a way that aligns with our service philosophy,” says Remt Melles, Director at PearlMobiel.
Connectivity as part of the hotel experience
PearlMobiel is the mobile connectivity label of Pearlcard, a premium lifestyle and concierge platform focused on exclusive services and curated travel experiences. The eSIM service runs on the technology and global infrastructure of OWN eSIM.
For Corendon Hotels & Resorts, the partnership expands its digital services for international guests. The launch highlights how connectivity is becoming an increasingly important part of the modern hotel experience.
