On September 30th and October 1st 2023 the largest culinary event of the Netherlands will take place, ‘100Chefs by Gault&Millau’, in the Miele Experience Centre in Vianen. It’s the first and largest weekend organised for consumers by Gault&Millau that will bring 100 leading Dutch chefs together. With names like Joris Bijdendijk (Rijks, Amsterdam), Nelson Tanate (De Librije, Zwolle) and Jan Smink (Smink, Wolvega) it will most definitely become a delicious culinary weekend. The goal of 100Chefs by Gault&Millau is to promote the diversity and quality of the Dutch culinary scene.

100Chefs by Gault&Millau | Gastronomical experience

“100Chefs by Gault&Millau is more than an event. We will introduce guests with restaurants, chefs and winemakers”, according to Godfried van der Lugt from Gault&Millau, organizer of the event. “We are thrilled to offer this platform to both well-known chefs and upcoming talents and are looking forward to creating a unforgettable gastronomical experience”.  The two day event is accessible for everyone: from enthusiastic home cooks to the real gourmets. All appetisers, wine-tasting glasses, multiple culinary tastings and various drinks are included in the tickets. Tickets available here!

Chefs will serve their creations at sustainable, single use tableware. The dishes are designed to eat with a “Spork” (A combination of a spoon and fork) or as finger food. The event will last from 12:00 – 18:00 o’clock. The chefs will switch three times a day of each kitchen. Every chef will present his or her dish in a time slot of 2 hours. If you want to taste them all, it’s wise to attend the whole event.

Wines are facilitated by….

In a unique collaboration with Gall&Gall, 26 international winehouses will present their range of products. Guests are able to taste wines from France, South-Africa, Argentina, Portugal and Italy. Furthermore, guests can participate in multiple tastings and masterclasses from the winemakers and chefs. A selection of the 26 outstanding winehouses are present, like for example:  Joseph Drouhin (Bourgogne) – Branas Grand Poujeaux (Bordeaux) – Mirafiore (Barolo) – Penfold (Australia) – Pommery (Champagne) – Domäne Wachau (Austria) – Wassmer (Germany).
