National Climate Week campaign from Conscious Hotels

During National Climate Week from October 30 to November 5, 2023, the doors of a very special hotel will open in Amsterdam. Conscious Hotel Vondelpark will open a new bee hotel on the roof garden in collaboration with BeeGrateful on October 30.

Bee-conscious

To make people more aware of the important role that bees play in our world, the sustainable hotel chain has entered into a partnership with Dennis Vink and BeeGrateful. BeeGrateful was born from the desire to make cities more green and thus increase biodiversity in a creative and inspiring way. In addition to the bee hotel on the roof of Conscious Hotel Vondelpark, Dennis and Conscious Hotels will show how easy it is to make your own balcony, garden or roof terrace bee-friendly during National Climate Week. Bee hotels are crucial to support these pollinators and thus promote biodiversity.

Sustainable as standard

This initiative did not come out of the blue. Conscious Hotels is the first sustainable hotel chain in the Netherlands and lives up to its name. Everything in the hotels and restaurants is as sustainable as possible. For example, all furniture is recycled, second-hand or made from sustainable materials, cleaning is done without chemicals, they use methods to spare water and all food and drinks are 100% organic. These are just a few examples.

In 2019 we wrote about Kaffeeform coffee cups that were also used at Conscious Hotels in Amsterdam at that time.
