The Amsterdam jenever brand Jajem exists 2 years this month. This will be celebrated in the Kopstootbar on the Leidseplein, which is also the first business the men behind the brand opened. Beside a party you can also buy Christmas ornaments filled with the young jenever!

Jajem Jenever

On Thursday, the 28th of December, the 2-year anniversary of Jajem will be celebrated in the Kopstootbar. The bar will remain open four hours longer then usually, especially for this party. This means that guests will be able to party till 05.30 am at night or in the morning. Last year we saw that the owners know how to throw a party and this year they also have a lot in store for all party guests. For example, it will be possible to get a tattoo from Ben de Boef during the evening.

Christmas ornaments filled with jenever

Especially for the anniversary, they sell Christmas ornaments filled with jenever. These are obviously meant to hang in the Christmas tree, to be drunk at a good time. The Christmas ornaments come in 2 variants; a ball filled with the famous white jenever and one filled with a special chocolate-strawberry liqueur. The Christmas balls are available in the Kopstootbar for € 6.50 or can be ordered via sarah@jajem.amsterdam. We have recently seen that Christmas ornaments filled with whiskey, gin or vodka are very popular. The article about these Christmas balls from The Lake Distillery has been read very often!

Limited Edition

This year, Jajem will also issue a Limited Edition. The very first batch in 2015 has matured  years for this special bottle, which makes the organic jenever brand taste completely different. The Limited Edition is available from December 28 at various liquor stores or can be ordered again via sarah@jajem.amsterdam.
