Revealing an unseen archive of backstage fashion photography from the 90s
From 15th September 2022 – to coincide with London Fashion Week – Claridge’s ArtSpace will exhibit celebrity photographer Gavin Bond’s unseen archive imagery from the early 90s fashion scene in a specially curated 4-D showcase. The Gavin Bond: Being There Showcase presented by Moët & Chandon and Claridge’s will present photography of standout fashion moments featuring designers from Yves Saint Laurent and Jean Paul Gaultier, to Valentino and Versace, and the supermodels of the era – from Kate and Naomi to Claudia and Carla. This photography, rediscovered by Bond in lockdown, results in a sensational showcase of large scale vinyls of the shots, plus displays of Bond’s many scrapbooks, collections of 90s headline catwalk show invitations and video footage from the era.

The Ice Cream Project by Anya Hindmarch is open in the Village Hall at 11 Pont Street in London until August 28th , and they introduce a very special flavour line up. The Ice Cream Project is the latest concept store at The Village – offering a collection of unexpectedly delicious ice creams and sorbets celebrating Anya Hindmarch’s favourite cult food brands.
We did spot this spectacular ice cream project on Instagram and we wonder if these flavours would be inspiration for other ice cream parlours? And we have spotted a lot of ice cream inspiration but these flavours are special!
Snackization | Top chefs are increasingly specializing in street food

Who doesn’t like a good snack from time to time? That goes for most people, of course, including top chefs. Behind the scenes, they have always created the most delicious simple dishes and snacks for themselves and their loved ones. A few years ago, the first chefs came to the realization that many more people would like to taste this. Like chef Gavin Kaysen (*) who already served a late night greasy spoon at the bar in his first restaurant Spoon and Stable years ago, New York’s favorite chef David Chang (**) who started his own fried chicken brand, Chef Schilo van Coevorden of restaurant Taiko (*) in the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam who in collaboration with Febo served the limited edition ‘langoustine frikandel’ or the Valuas croquettes and bitterballen of chef Eric Swaghoven which he has been selling since 2004. These chefs already set this trend back then, this article will continue after a few of these examples of “snackization” of the culinary world where we discuss the inspiration and initiatives that the corona period brought us.

The intimate space, complete with a cozy bar, low stage and comfortable seats, are an invitation to relaxed or exciting evenings, filled with good food, a good glass of wine and the best music. The cozy and informal location offers space for vegan dinners, live music and the best performances ever. Radisson Blu Hotel, Mount Erciyes is located just off the slopes in the centre of the Mount Erciyes ski region with direct access to all the best mountain lifts, ski slopes and après ski facilities.
Have you ever thought about going skiing in Turkey? We didn’t, but Mount Erciyes is a volcano in Turkey and you can ski on the north to east side of the mountain. A sustainable cup with black gold for everyone: that is what the Mister Barish coffee brand stands for. By selling loose coffee beans, purchased at fair prices from plantations with environmentally friendly products, the brand wants to combat the growing use of single-use plastic. Unique in the Netherlands: Mister Barish sells monthly subscriptions where the customer pays per cup of coffee. This includes a device, service and support and the most suitable beans. Oliebollen challenge | Top chefs challenge each other for charity

To draw attention to children who are limited in their childhood, top chefs Mark Minkman and Sidney Schutte and Brewery De Goede & De Stoute have started an oliebollen (dutch pastry: deep fried doughnut balls) challenge. Under the hashtag #oliebollenchallengenl they are calling on chefs to post their most special oliebol on Instagram. A jury chooses the tastiest and most special oliebol, which is for sale to the public on December 31. The proceeds go to the Onky Donky Foundation.
