IceRoll boutique just opened a store in Paris, where they sell freshly made ice cream rolls with a touch of show! The ice cream is made on a Teppanyaki and is originally from Asia, and now starts to be popular in America and thus in Europe as well. It’s about time we get a store in the Netherlands!

The Youth Food Movement thinks it should be mandatory to educate every child of the Netherlands about food. Awareness of food, harvest, learning to cook and healthy food at all schools. From the idea of having the right on good, healthy food and that they deserve to learn at an early age what is healthy. You can sign the petition at their website and join the conversation on social media with the hashtag #voedselonderwijs. We support this initiative and are convinced that there are a lot of chefs that could help with cooking classes on schools.

Portobello Road Gin has revealed to open a new venue where guest can literally eat, drink and sleep all thing gin. The idea is from Portobello Road Gin, a distillery in London. The four storey ‘gin mecca’ will feature a gin museum, blending room, Spanish-style ‘Gintonic’ bar and restaurant, shop and several boutique guest rooms.
