Opening – In August high end restaurant SECRET GARDEN will open at the Reguliersdwarsstraat in Amsterdam. Inspired by multidisciplinary catering establishments in London, Madrid, Dubai and Paris, SECRET GARDEN is a place where you can not only dine, but also have a great time. SECRET GARDEN is a new initiative by brothers and hospitality entrepreneurs Roy and Mike Poppes. With more than 10 years of experience in the international catering industry, they missed a real mature, internationally oriented restaurant with experience in Amsterdam. An establishment where you don’t have to go into town after dinner, because you can continue the evening with cocktails and live entertainment. SECRET GARDEN offers precisely that added value and therefore becomes a unique addition to both the restaurant and nightlife offerings in Amsterdam.
BrewDog Waterloo in London opens August 18

Independent Scottish craft brewer BrewDog is pushing the boundaries with their upcoming 27,500 sq ft immersive craft beer destination in central London. For their largest ever bar, opening Thursday 18th August in the newly developed Waterloo Station, The Sidings. BrewDog are set to pull out all the stops.

Restaurant Renato’s brings the Italian vibe to Bloemendaal aan Zee

Restaurant Renato’s has officially opened in the Dutch coast city of Bloemendaal aan Zee. With its family approach, the thin ‘Roman style’ pizzas, extensive choice of antipasti and high quality ingredients, Renato’s has already conquered many hearts in establishments elsewhere in the country. In Bloemendaal aan Zee, Renato’s found a place that had long been on the owners wish list: a location that also offers space for large family dinners, weddings and events and can be combined with a wonderful night’s sleep in Poort Beach Boutique Apartments. Project ‘Ingelijst’ expresses gratitude to the hospitality industry in Rotterdam

Nine striking heads adorn beer bottles and pub walls. According to the beer brand Vedett, it is often the staff that makes the difference. That smile you get for free with your beer, the listening ear behind the bar and the good conversations between orders. After years of lockdowns and uncertainty, it is important to thank these indispensable people. Because they are here again. Because they exist. And because they make every day just that little bit better. Project ‘Ingelijst’ (Framed) is the name of a creative project that started last year in Utrecht and was created especially to put hospitality workers in the spotlight after the corona crisis. In collaboration with the beer brand Vedett, young illustrator Libra Telako immortalized nine people in Utrecht and now nine giants in the hospitality industry in Rotterdam with her colourful and striking style.
