The Lana in Dubai | The first hotel of the Dorchester Collection in the Middle East

Dorchester Collection’s hotly anticipated new opening, The Lana in Dubai, has welcomed its first dining and overnight guests. An architectural statement designed by Foster + Partners, the hotel represents the ultimate expression of trusted hospitality and elevated living, offering 225 rooms and suites and eight new dining concepts; including four that have been created with three of the world’s most celebrated chefs. The hotel’s sophisticated interiors have been designed and executed by the famed Parisian duo, Gilles & Boissier and incorporate a carefully curated section of more than 50 art pieces, commissioned by local and global artists. The Lana will also be home to the first Dior Spa in the UAE, set to open in April 2024.

The restaurant is looking forward to bringing guests together in a trendy Vietnamese ambiance, situated in a side street of the Witte de Withstraat, a central location in Rotterdam. The menu of this family-run restaurant features well-kept family recipes.

On February 24 during the full moon, the wolf goes wild. Wolf Atelier will host the first edition of a series of culinary ‘Fullmoon Parties’. When the moon is at its fullest, Amsterdam’s nocturnal animals will be tasting and dancing the night away during the culinary ‘Fullmoon Party’ on the Spoorbrug near Westerdok.

‘Gum under the table’| Restaurant Coulisse (*) X streetart Frankey

With their brand new concept ‘Street Art Sundays’, restaurant Coulisse with one Michelin star and streetart Frankey is breaking through all the conventional bubbles of gastronomy. On three Sunday afternoons, several artists from Amsterdam will explore their intersections with fine dining. In the process, Coulisse’s team will surprise guests with unique dishes and unexpected flavours. As curator of these afternoons, streetart Frankey himself will kick off February 25. In this first edition, aptly titled ‘Gum under the table’, he shares his fascination with chewing gum, as the most useless and cheerful food product of all time.
