Ven Amsterdam: a new world

25-3-2016

There is a huge project going on in Amsterdam currently. The old KPN headquarters at Amsterdam Sloterdijk is currently being transformed to a place where business, overnight staying and leisure are coming together. Ven Amsterdam is expected to be finished in 2017 and the expectations are high.

Possibilities at Ven Amsterdam

When you take a look at their website you immediately see what Ven Amsterdam is all about: change. Not just a standard event location or hotel. It will be ‘a unique place where the past meets the future, where work meets relaxation and where opportunity meets possibility’.

The 42,000 sqm building will be open 24/7 and offers a full experience with i.a. the Park Inn by Radisson hotel, B-Apart hotels, stores, a spa and fitness, a juice bar, a rooftop bar and restaurant, and a large casino. There are still spaces available within the building where you can start your own business. Tali Bielski of Ven Amsterdam: “It’s still possible to become a partner at Ven. Ven still has some available spaces, and is flexible regarding their usage. Ven is also open to explore any new concepts, sponsorship opportunities and partnership ideas.” The largest partner is already known and will occupy almost half of the building: Park Inn by Radisson.

Park Inn by Radisson

The Park Inn by Radisson at Ven will be Carlson Rezidor’s newest flagship convention hotel, offering 478 rooms, 2,500 sqm meeting facilities with a capacity of 1,000 people, uniquely designed ballroom – an event location that is unparalleled. The hotel is good accessible since it is located next to railway station Sloterdijk. Considering all the other facilities the Ven offers, attendees of events basically won’t have to leave the Ven terrain.

Ven also offers an extended stay concept leased by B-aparthotels, providing 50 spacious serviced apartments available for short and long-stay guests.

Omnam Investment Group

The building itself is owned by the Omnam Investment Group from Israel. Despite the fact that the Ven Amsterdam is not opened yet, they are already seeking for new locations in leading cities in the Netherlands and Europe to extend the Ven concept further.
