Christmas dinner inspiration | Great dessert for shared dining

A Thor’s Skyr Robotic Smoothie Kiosks

Blendid®, a robotic food service solutions leader, recently announced that Thor’s Skyr, the American-made skyr brand using innovative Icelandic methods developed over 1000 years and all natural ingredients, is opening their first autonomous robotic kiosk locations powered by Blendid technology later this year. The Thor’s Skyr by Blendid locations will be the first robotic kiosks in the United States to offer skyr-based smoothies to consumers. More details in their press release, link in the title.

BelChicken | A fast-growing Belgian chain

We are wondering when the fast-growing Belgian chain, BelChicken, is opening its first location in the Netherlands. The first location opened in 2016 and today they have over 42 locations in Belgium, 3 in Germany and 1 in France. In 2020 during the pandemic, they have opened 12 new locations and they aim for 70 locations in Belgium by 2025.

Hertog Jan unveils Grand Prestige Barrel-aged 2023

The taste of Latin American traditions within a Limburg’s beer. This week Hertog Jan announced the flavors of its annual Grand Prestige Barrel-aged beers. For these beers, the beer is aged in barrels of other beverage types. For the seventh edition, the four varieties pay tribute to the shared craftsmanship behind distinctive Latin American distillates: Brazilian Cachaça, Caribbean Rhum Agricole, and Mexican Reposado Tequila and Mezcal. More details in the link in the title. On Tuesday, Dec. 5, the Grand Prestige Barrel-aged 2023 will go on sale through Hertog Jan’s online brewery store. Those who can’t wait: the beers will be on sale at the brewery store in Arcen in December, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd .
