Spirit Rotterdam opens new store in Amsterdam

Spirit Rotterdam, famous of its 100% biological land 100% vegan dishes has opened their doors this week in Amsterdam. What makes Spirit special? You can personally choose how much you eat and by doing this you can choose how much you pay. You only pay the amount of food what’s on the plate. We wish Spirit lots of success with their new store.

Aaltense baker created a trump raisin cake

The Van den Dobbelsteen, a bakery in Aalten, The Netherlands created on the 9th of November a (t)rum(p)-raisin-cake. It was created especially for the outcome of the American elections. On this day, Donald Trump became the new president of the United States of America.

WineStein | digital sommelier at Ron Gastrobar Paris

The newest restaurant of Ron Blaauw, Ron Gastrobar Paris started working with WineStein. WineStein is an digital sommelier advices you the best suited wine for your dish. WineStein is invented in collaboration of scientists of Smar Research, a spin-off of the Radboud University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. The score of the wine advice shows how good a wine suits with a specific dish. A score of 100 is a perfect match, from 60 points it’s a good combination. WineStein can also advice a specific dish suiting the best with a specific wine by using your flavour preferences.

Wine with a snack

Designer Gary Matsch created single-serve wine glasses that come with a convenient snack inside. Each ready to drink glass of wine contains 187 millilitres of wine and a separately contained snack submerged in the beverage.
