TonTon Club XL is coming back!

In 2016 the TonTon Club XL is coming back to the ‘Westergasfabriek’ in Amsterdam. For up to two weekends in March you can enjoy pinball games, shooting games, air hockey and many more.

TonTon Club

After a successful first edition last year, the organisation thought it was time to make it even bigger this year. Therefore not one but two weekends of fun and joy this year. While there is a fair taking place outside, you also can take a look inside the ‘Zuiveringshal’ that has turned into a real pinball- and gaming-paradise. The entrance is free and the games can be played with tokens. You can enjoy yourself with 50 pinball games, several racing games, air hockey tables, shooting games and a lot more. As an extra there also is a virtual reality room with different games this year. In between the games, music will be played and you can get something to eat and drink at several places.

Two locations in Amsterdam

The TonTon Club is well known in Amsterdam. In 2013 the first game hall was opened by four young entrepreneurs. According to their website “creating and entertaining” is the motto of the club. “TonTon is mercilessly beating your friends with a game of Mortal Kombat, letting your drawing skills come to life with a converted copier, or simply have a beer and a hotdog. TonTon is a place where creativity and entertainment comes together and gives you a timeless experience.” By this motto they organised a festival in 2015 and almost immediately afterwards there was decided to open a second location in the capital of the Netherlands, also at the ‘Westergasfabriek’.

In addition to the operation of the two locations in Amsterdam, they also focus on developing and adapting games and installations. On the website you can see several inventive creations like a Jagermeister Crane Game that would perfectly fit in your local pub, the Desperados Bumper Bar or a Jameson Squash Air Hockey table where you do not play against each other, but with each other.

TonTon Club XL takes place on 11, 12 & 13 March and 18, 19 & 20 March. For more information check out:
