The Wonderland Bar is the new exciting immersive destination bar in London. It’s the place which truly brings Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland to life. Are you a real Alice in Wonderland fan and would you like to experience her adventures? Than this bar is a must-visit. The bar is part of Alice’s Adventurous Underground. A theater show that let you experience Alice’s adventures.

The Wonderland Bar at Alice’s Adventures Underground

The Wonderland Bar at Alice’s Adventures Underground opened last April in London and is a new exciting bar in London. It’s the place which truly brings Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland to life. The bar boasts a bespoke drinks menu with themed cocktails invented by Smith & Sinclair. Their cocktail, the ‘Deluxe Tea Party Cocktail’, made with chamomile, green tea, peppermint and spiced liquor, served with a lemon lollypop, for instance changes in color when being stirred. Another surprising cocktail on the cocktail menu is the ‘Just a Half a Cup of Tea’, a foamy gin, earl grey and citrus cocktail topped with a noisy surprise. Smith & Sinclair also created edible cocktails with gin, whisky and rum flavors. Sounds exciting don’t you think? The Wonderland Bar is located at arts platform The Vaults at Waterloo’s underground station in London.

Other Alice in Wonderland concepts

In the past we also spotted several themed restaurants and businesses that were inspired by the Alice and Wonderland adventures. In 2011 the Japanese design studio Fantastic Design Works for instance designed the fairytale interior at a Alice in Wonderland themed restaurants in Japan. The restaurant features imaginative combinations of psychedelic decorations, dramatic designs and waitresses dressed in Alice costumes. In 2010, macaron creator Ladurée turned a corner at Paris’ Hausman Printemps department store into a wonderland. There was a large teapot installed and they had a special ‘Alice in Wonderland’ box with macarons for sale.
