Recently chef Peter Lute and his wife Marieke opened GREEN Gastrobar in the Valley building in Amsterdam South. Together with Molteni&C they host THE SKYNIGHT, every Friday from 19.00 until midnight. Enjoy an amazing 360° sunset over Amsterdam from the penthouse of architectural masterpiece Valley. While enjoying the finest drinks and surprising vegetarian culinary creations of GREEN. With weekly live music and limited seating. Where exclusivity is really exclusivity and the attention to the guest is un-Amsterdam. Enjoyment on a grand scale in stylish, sophisticated surroundings.

We checked the vibes at this new international hotspot! Our colleague Leonie van Spronsen, who lived in New York for several years, compared it to Restauration Hardware located in the Meatpacking District. Although the view from the much higher Valley Building is certainly better.

GREEN Gastrobar

GREEN Gastrobar is metropolitan, relaxed and cosmopolitan with a breathtaking view of the beautiful city. The menu is vegetarian with home-grown ingredients. Fish and meat are served as side dishes. Served in a very pure style. The ‘Green Table’ is a parade of vegetarian dishes. You do not want to miss this. With this style Peter Lute and his team build a bridge to the, in his eyes, self-evident future of gastronomy. Peter & Marieke now live in the rural Noordoostpolder. That is where many of the ingredients come from and in the next two years they will be building a self-sufficient place with another restaurant. This restaurant will be called LUTE we read at their website. This will create a unique combination of several hectares at sea level in Kraggenburg and the highest restaurant and sky bar in Amsterdam.

Every Friday from 19.00 to 00.00. Limited seating. Complete package €295,- per person. To be booked via Green Gastrobar. Address: Beethovenstraat 305, (entrance via Molteni Dada store), 26th floor in Amsterdam-South.

The Molteni&C|Dada Flagship Store

The Molteni Group, in collaboration with Co van der Horst, recently opened the Dutch Molteni&C|Dada Flagship Store in Amsterdam’s Zuidas district. A completely innovative concept, it occupies no less than three floors of Valley, one of the most prestigious buildings in the area. The Molteni&C|Dada Amsterdam Flagship Store covers more than 800m2 on the ground, 26th and 27th floors, accessible by private lift. The 26th floor houses the GREEN gastrobar, two spacious lounges and the phenomenal roof terrace. A large spiral staircase connects the 26th and the top floor for a further immersion in the Molteni&C|Dada experience with 360° views of the city. Vincent Van Duysen, creative director at Molteni&C|Dada, is responsible for the design of the Flagship Store. The result is an impressive setting of Molteni&C|Dada collections, creating a warm and welcoming space.
