The Banoffee features fresh, hand-spun vanilla custard blended with caramelised bananas, Dulce de Leche, Speculoos biscuits and a hint of sea salt, topped with whipped cream and Speculoos crumbles. The Great British Shake Sale is an initiative taking place at Shake Shacks throughout the UK from 1st – 31st August. The goal is to raise awareness and funds for ‘Action Against Hunger’, a global charity committed to saving the lives of malnourished children in 50 countries. The 4th Great British Shake Sale in London follows the record breaking success of Shake Shack’s 2017 Shake Sale in the US which raised an incredible $632,544.

Teaming up with Dominique Ansel

Teaming up with Dominique Ansel continues Shake Shack’s commitment to collaborating with the world’s best, from Massimo Bottura, the world renowned Italian Chef, to a pop-up with Momofuku in Toronto and working with St John Bread and Wine here in London.

“The Great British Shake Sale has become such a meaningful tradition for the Shake Shack family,” says Randy Garutti, Shake Shack CEO. “Action Against Hunger’s work to help end child hunger is more important now than ever, and we’re so grateful to team up with them again this year.”

“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with our friends at Shake Shack on this special collaboration,” says Dominique Ansel. “Over the years, we’ve worked with Shake Shack on a number of initiatives that give back to the community, starting in New York and then in Tokyo, and I’m glad to be continuing that tradition with our team at Dominique Ansel Bakery London to create something that’s uniquely British with our Banoffee shake for the Great British Shake Sale.”
