Two weeks ago, a new unique concept opened in The Hague. Sweet Mirrie’s makes ice cream as we already have spotted a lot in the Far East. The teppanyaki ice cream is not brand new, we spotted it before and wrote about it before. But we haven’t spotted a concept like this before in the Netherlands.

Fresh ice cream without preservatives

The ice cream is prepared on two portable Movuz ice cream teppanyaki’s, which reach -25° C, thus freezing the liquid to ice cream within minutes. At Sweet Mirrie’s, they roll each ice cream with fresh ingredients, right in front of the eyes of their guests. Due to the unique preparation methods of the ice cream it is not necessary to add preservatives.

The ice creams

Did you start longing for ice cream by reading the text above? Please don’t read on unless you are in the vicinity of Sweet Mirrie’s. The menu consists of various combinations like the classic love (strawberry and chocolate), the happy monkey (banana & chocolate), matcha heaven (matcha powder and blueberries) and many other combinations. If you prefer to create your own taste, no problem! The menu is full of various sauces, fruits and sweets. Enjoy yourself!

Sweet Mirrie’s more than ice cream

“Not only do we love ice cream rolls but also crepes in rolls with fresh fruit and other confectionery. Inspiration for the crepes comes from the far east, Japan. Sweet Mirrie’s also offers coffee and various pastries.”, the owners said on their website. In addition to the ice cream rolls, Sweet Crêpes are also sold. Large and flattery crepes with fresh fruit and any other ingredients. Sweet Mirrie’s is located in the center of Den Haag next to ‘Het Plein’ (The Square) and near het Binnenhof (the courtyard), at the street ‘de Korte Poten’.
