After the outdoor event, the party continues from 11:00 PM during the official afterparties at Coconuts & café ‘t Fust.

From beginners to experienced dancers, everyone comes together to enjoy salsa and bachata in a relaxed, summery atmosphere. Every evening starts with a free workshop, after which visitors can dance outside until 11:00 PM to a varied mix of Latin music at Striktly Summer. After sunset, the party moves indoors. In Coconuts and café ‘t Fust, the music keeps going, allowing visitors to continue the evening where the tropical atmosphere from outside seamlessly continues. This makes Stadhuisplein a meeting place every Tuesday for dance lovers from Rotterdam and beyond.
What makes Striktly so special is that it literally gets people moving. You see visitors who don’t know each other step onto the dance floor together. That fits perfectly with the open and tropical atmosphere of Coconuts.” The organization expects thousands of visitors again this season, spread across the ten summer editions. Visitors can reserve a ticket online in advance for the outdoor event.
Practical information
Striktly Summer takes place every Tuesday through September 1st. The workshop starts at 7:00 PM and the outdoor salsa & bachata runs from 7:45 PM to 11:00 PM at Stadhuisplein Rotterdam. The official afterparties are from 11:00 PM at Coconuts & café ‘t Fust Rotterdam.
