During the pandemic, top restaurants managed to reach consumers at home by necessity. After the lockdowns, restaurant owners had to return to their physical restaurants and chefs, but they wanted to continue serving their new customers across the country. Founded in 2022, SOUS saw a gap in the market and was able to take this culinary home dining experience to the next level. SOUS now supplies the menus of dozens of top restaurants and chefs in the Netherlands and Belgium, and SOUS Market offers a range of curated premium products.

Sophisticated dining experiences at home

They offer high-end culinary experiences by bringing together craftsmanship, quality and simplicity. SOUS breaks barriers for top restaurants, chefs and brand partners by enabling them to reach consumers at home as well, expanding their reach and business. SOUS-affiliated restaurants and chefs combine both traditional and modern cooking techniques and, in concert with SOUS, create the ultimate home dining experience. The chefs prepare the carefully crafted menus in their own kitchens and package the components fresh and airtight, ready for shipment. Once it is delivered at home, all one has to do is add the finishing touches. With 38 partners in total, including renowned names such as Ron Blaauw, Julius Jaspers and leading restaurants such as Treeswijkhoeve**, Parkheuvel** and Daalder*, there is an abundance of choice for every foodie.

SOUS Market offers a wide range of high-quality products including balsamic from a worldrenowned 3 michelin star chef, cakes from The Pastry, chocolates from Madaq, cheese from L’amuse, and the wine box from Ron Gastrobar.

The organization is founded in 2022 by Devon Scoulelis (38) and Thomas Scholte (26). Thomas is an experienced entrepreneur with a track record in various digital businesses. Devon, originally from South Africa, owned and developed many restaurant concepts together with a franchise organization with more than 40 branches in several African countries. The team consists of a passionate group of digital designers, culinary experts, restaurateurs, and logistics professionals.
