Internet access has become an important daily requirement. Access to news, social media and e-mail from your laptop, smartphone or tablet, was once seen as a luxury. Nowadays people want and expect this access everywhere. Not offering free WiFi can strongly discourage guests from visiting your place and has therefore become an essential part of the service for the hospitality industry. Social wifi from SpotOn makes it possible for guests to simply and quickly log in to your Wi-Fi network with their social media account, for example Facebook or Twitter. Besides that you can also analyze the users of your network, send marketing campaigns, hand out coupons and measure customer satisfaction.

Social wifi

Social wifi from SpotOn works on your existing internet connection. You create a social hotspot (Wi-Fi network) by connecting a plug & play router to your modem. Guests can log in without a password, but with their Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or other social media account. Logging in with an e-mail address or through a survey is also possible. After your guests are logged in, they are redirected to a internet page that you choose, for example your Facebook page or website. You can also ask your guests to like or follow your account. The data is stored in a database as soon as your guests are logged in. Think of data such as contact info (e-mail, social media), demographic data (age, gender, place of residence), online behavior (time frame online). SpotOn | Analytics

You know exactly who your guests are and what they want. All collected data are clearly and categorized in your personal dashboard. So you have insight in: new and regular guests / busy days /  (average) age (target group) / where your guests come from.

SpotOn | Marketing

The collected data can be used for marketing purposes, such as e-mail marketing, coupon marketing or an advertising campaign. You can compose your own e-mail with photos and layout, you can also decide which target group you want to address your mail, coupons or advertisements to. You can also automate birthday coupons. The system keeps track of who responds to which action. Guests who have logged in once do not have to log in again, but you can, for example, show them a short advertisement when they arrive at your place.

SpotOn | Customer satisfaction

The customer satisfaction module of SpotOn automatically sends your guests three hours after they are logged in to your Wi-Fi network, an e-mail with the question how your guests have experienced their stay. They can choose between a green and a red button. When the red button is clicked, a text field appears with the possibility to give feedback. You will receive this feedback by e-mail and isn’t shared publically! This gives you the opportunity to directly contact your dissatisfied guests personally. When the green button is clicked, the question appears whether your guests want to write a review for your restaurant, bar or hotel. You can choose at which platform you want them to ask to leave the review.
