An official ‘Golden Girls’ Kitchen pop-up is coming to Los Angeles this summer and TiNDLE, the plant-based chicken brand, is now available at all ‘Veggie Grill’ restaurants in the USA.

Panera helps guests stay charged for the longest day of the year with the limited edition ‘Charged Up Cup’, that will charge your phone while you simultaneously enjoy an energy boost from Panera’s new Charged Lemonades.

Shaffy Restobar in Amsterdam welcomes a new chef de cuisine: Koji Miyahira. He is adding an Asian twist to the menu. And in the ‘Learn to Taste’ series by Bird Brewery this month the difference between their Ekster and Ekstera beers. read more

The Apollo Hotels successfully transformed into Leonardo Hotels and their new website is online as well. And TENZING Natural Energy is now also available in the Netherlands, it’s a completely plant-based, low-calorie energy drink with a positive impact on the planet.

Sushi, by now a product eaten with some regularity by young and old people. Everyone has at least one type of sushi that they like. There are now countless restaurants where you can eat sushi, in all shapes, sizes and formats. We did some research on the most original ideas for sushi!

In honor of Queen Elizabeth’s platinum jubilee, Claridge’s is celebrating her anniversary in its own unique and legendary style, including cocktails and a ‘Royal Archive Cabinet’ in their lobby.

There is a limited edition NFT collection of the Instagram posts of virtual influencer Esther Olofsson from Rotterdam! Available at opensea.io. And McDonald’s USA is introducing the ‘Chocolately Pretzel McFlurry’ this summer. For a limited time as from May 25.

Opening – Sapphire House Antwerp, the long awaited Marriott hotel in Antwerp, opened its doors this week. The five star hotel is the first hotel in the world that is completely plant-based. This five star hotel is located on the 16th century site of the Antwerp Stock Exchange and was carefully renovated with the idea to protecting international cultural heritage. We spotted a Starbucks all-you-can-eat buffet at the Starbucks Reserve Ginza Marronnier-dori store in Japan. And we never heard of the Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza but it makes its long-awaited return in May!

Restaurant ShakShuk in Amsterdam made a special dish for Earth Day

Especially for Earth Day (April 22), ShakShuk, a shakshuka restaurant on the Zuidas  in Amsterdam, developed a new dish in collaboration with Beyond Meat: Spicy Beyond Merguez. The spicy sausages in this dish are normally made from animal meat, but ShakShuk replaced them with sustainable, plant-based Beyond Sausage. The new dish will be launched with a special promotion on Earth Day and will remain on the menu for a month.

Spicy Beyond Merguez is being introduced with a special promotion: ShakShuk is offering 100 dishes for free on April 22 to celebrate Earth Day. Restaurant-goers can make reservations for this through ShakShuk.
