Lobster and chicken as main ingredient, slightly different as the old fashioned Surf & Turf. Restaurant Yoepz Kip & Kreeft (Chicken & Lobster) from Utrecht (The Netherlands) will soon open a store in Amsterdam.

Restaurant Yoepz Kip & Kreeft opens a new store in Amsterdam

The people from Utrecht can already enjoy daily freshly prepared free-range chicken from the Portuguese butterfly grill and ‘Canadian hard shell lobster a la plancha’ at Yoepz in Utrecht. From Friday the 26th of February this also can be enjoyed in ‘de Pijp’ by the  people from Amsterdam. In a historical building at the corner of the Cornelis Troostplein and the Ferdinand Bolstraat. The former school building is transformed into a stylish mix of Mediterranean and industrial elements that suits the trend of Yoepz Utrecht. The interior office Cabana Interiors from Amsterdam is responsible for the design.

The Yoepz-bib & menu

On Yoepz’s menu you find a lot of different dishes with, what else, chicken and lobster as main ingredient. You’re allowed to eat most of the dishes with your hands. That is why guests get a, now famous in Utrecht, Yoepz-bib whilst you are eating your meal and a big bowl of water si put at the table to wash your hands. People who rather have a lighter lunch can enjoy salads, soups, wraps and sandwiches. If you want to go for a drink you are at the right address at Yoepz. Besides a large selection of special beers, Yoepz also serves accessible wines and Gin Tonics. Also take a look at the menu on their website, nicely designed and with a Wi-Fi code on the cover, follow us on Instagram, Facebook and a suggestion for (#) hashtags you can use. That is something we don’t often see on a menu…

Chicken is popular!

We recently spotted several concepts where chicken is the main ingredient on the menu. In December the Roast Chicken Bar was opened in Haarlem and we regularly read about restaurants that start serving chicken from the grill. An example from Antwerp is the Poule Poulette and in New York City Papa Poule sells roasted chicken with sauces made by a star chef from France.
