Ripple, plant-based milk | Will this change the dairy industry?

Ripple launched a new line of dairy products in April 2016 powered by $44 million from Google and Silicon Valley venture capitalists. But what is Ripple? Milk made from simple yellow peas. It’s a plant-based milk, high in protein, low in sugar. Ripple has a good taste (it has a creamy texture which is something other dairy free products are missing, according to the company), it nourishes your body and leaves a small footprint on the planet. XXL edition Rrrollend Den Haag at the Malieveld

Until Sunday August 6th, Rrrollend Den Haag XXL will be at the Malieveld with dozens of food trucks, specialty beer bars, a turning mill and more. With 22 editions a year, spread throughout the country, Rrrollend is the biggest food truck festival in the Netherlands. Rrrollend usually stretches down in the city centre, like the Lange Voorhout in The Hague a few months ago. But not this time during a XXL edition on the Malieveld. Due to the fact that this location is a lot bigger, it means that Rrrollend The Hague consists out of twice the amount food trucks than normal (over 40!). Besides, there is an extensive musical lineup and extra entertainment for the children. read more

Perfect Day | Cow’s milk without cows

IKEA | Considers opening IKEA standalone restaurants

Most of us know them, Köttbullar, the famous IKEA meatballs. They’re almost as legendary as the furniture itself. For the ones who can’t get enough of them, we got news: IKEA is considering opening IKEA standalone restaurants! Hopefully in the near future you can enjoy the famous meatballs together with a class of lingonberry juice and a piece of Daim cake in one of the IKEA standalone restaurants. read more
