Fagel’s Wonderland | Alice in Wonderland world

At Fagel’s Salon, you step into a true Alice in Wonderland experience. The hotel has recently expanded from six to as many as 18 hotel rooms and suites. When you stand on the Noordeinde in front of the entrance, all you see is an unobtrusive shop window and a door, but behind it is a special fantasy world. From the breakfast room, you enter a dark, mysterious corridor where a swarm of colourful butterflies from the basement flutters towards you. These butterflies lead you from the dark maze to the various hotel rooms, which are instead bright and colourful decorated like a fairytale world. The rooms have names like ‘Secret Wonderland’, ‘Royal Rabbits Den’ and ‘Princess Ruby of Hearts’ which are inspired by characters from the fantasy film. The hotel rooms with outdoor space border ‘Fagels Wonderland’, a surprisingly large garden directly adjacent to the King’s Palace, where hotel guests can enjoy the sun, greenery and each other in peace. At the heart of the hotel is a wondrous courtyard, where breakfast is served and it feels like being in a secret oasis.
