Opening in Antwerp – With MOOY Bakery, the popular pink lunch spot ‘MOOY Food & Drinks’ is introducing a completely new concept across the street from the current store. Here they serve milkshakes, cupcakes, cake slices and fancy sweet & savory toasts! All sweet tooths can gather here! Owner Yana Lamon starts with one establishment, with the aim of being able to expand it later or even develop it as a franchise concept. The stairway to sweet treat heaven? You can climb it from this summer at the Lombardenvest 33 in Antwerp.
Looking at the images, the concept reminds us a bit of the very popular and Instagrammable EL&N cafes in London. And if MOOY Bakery will be as busy as this chain is in London, it can expand quickly! Nice to visit if you go shopping with friends in Antwerp. The cake slices look deliciously sweet!

Instagrammable lunch spot MOOY Bakery
With a completely pink interior full of flowers and pink velvet, MOOY has been crowned the most Instagrammable lunch spot in Antwerp since 2018. Foodies and pastry chefs like Roger Van Damme alike couldn’t resist all that mooys for the past three years. The lure of the all-new MOOY Bakery sounds even sweeter and more seductive! The interior full of pink, gold, paper flowers and photogenic Terrazo tables make the sweet treats just as irresistible as the first MOOY. You can just walk in as it’s not possible to make a reservation! No place to sit or running out of time? Take your goodies to go!
Sweet, sweeter, sweetest
On the menu at MOOY Bakery you will find cupcakes, cake slices, cake pop cones, high tea, sweet and savory toasts, milkshakes or even a chocolate fondue. The interior is as sweet as the dishes themselves. As if all that sweetness doesn’t sound tempting enough, the pastries are also made on the spot with lots of love.
In addition, the ‘treats’ are prepared as sustainably as possible and organic and high-quality ingredients are given a central place. The chocolate in the treats is from Valrhona, a premium French chocolate brand that has been producing the most refined chocolate since 1922. This chocolate is used by the best pastry chefs in the world. Only organic ice cream and fresh fruit are used in the milkshakes.

After the successful first location, owner Yana Lamon found inspiration to expand MOOY in an innovative way. Time for a completely new concept, resulting in this Bakery. For the time being, Yana is opening one MOOY Bakery spot to check out the concept. Followed by an evaluation of the concept after a year, and the possibility of franchise opportunities. About MOOY
Young entrepreneur Yana Lamon started her very first business with MOOY in 2018. The pink hotspot became an instant success and immediately attracted long queues of foodies who all wanted to feast in style with the extraordinary teas, colourful drinks and healthy treats. Yana’s basic background as a make-up artist was expressed in the original concept of MOOY, which initially opened as a catering business and beauty shop in one. During corona, Yana decided to take a new path and create more seats by stopping the beauty shop. Today you can still see that eye for beauty in the look and feel of the two concepts.
