Michelin Stars – Tales From The Kitchen

The food world is obsessed with Michelin stars and the documentary of Danish filmmaker Rasmus Dinesen goes under the surface and offers an in-depth, honest and relevant view into the world and daily life of Michelin chefs. The filmmaker followed fifteen Michelin-starred chef worldwide for a period of 2 years, from New York City to Copenhagen, from San Sebastián to Tokio, in search of a realistic understanding of life behind the often airbrushed scenes of what is arguably the most dynamic and creative industry in the world.  The documentary also features global diners, food writers, hotel managers and Michael Ellis the Michelin Guide’s managing director. The film tells tales from fine dining at culinary temples as well as digging into the greatness and flaws of the Guide Michelin in this golden age of gastronomy.
