Les Mills Live: world’s biggest festivals
Les Mills Live is a collaboration between Reebok and Les Mills, who organize fitness festivals all over the world. They started organizing the festivals a couple of years ago, and today the festivals are extremely popular by thousands of fitness lovers.
What is Les Mills Live?
The concept of the festivals is very clear. In collaboration with Reebok they rent a venue. Concert locations will be converted to temporary fitness locations. Last year the Ziggo Dome was the décor of a live event of Les Mills, during the Amsterdam Dance Event. Fitness lovers were able to enjoy fitness lessons in six locations of the Ziggo Dome from 9 in the morning until 7 in the evening. Just like at other festivals you’re able to buy food & drinks, hire a safe and buy merchandise (only Reebok of course). There are no showers and dressing rooms but with thousands of other sweaty fitness lovers, you’re not the only one smelling badly!
During the event in the Netherlands, we noticed a great collaboration with partners to create a total experience, even after the event. Since the event was held during the Amsterdam Dance Event, guests could buy combined tickets to go to a dance event that same evening (with some muscle pain). Guests could also book a Les Mills x Reebok hotel with a dining arrangement.
Cities like Barcelona, Madrid, Manchester, Berlin, London and many more are part of the 2016 World Tour. Leaving the Dutch fitness fans with the possibility to book a fitness / cultural weekend in Barcelona or London.
Les Mills inspires millions of people to get moving every week. They mix great music, cutting-edge science with fitness workouts. The company is initiated by Philip Mills, son of Leslie Mills, a former athlete from New Zealand and a four time Olympian.
Their workouts are immense popular and known as BodyPump, BodyAttack or BodyCombat. The workouts are licensed by 17.500 partners in 100 countries around the world.
