Green Boy Group announced today that it has launched Plant-Meat Protein™; a functional plant-based protein powder that is NON-GMO and developed as ‘meat’ grade. Plant-Meat Protein™ enhances mouthfeel, boost nutritional properties and enlarges the textured aspects in plant-based meat products.

Application of Plant-Meat Protein™

Plant-Meat Protein™ is introduced to the food industry for the production of plant-based meat like plant-based burgers, nuggets, sausages but also to produce textured plant-based proteins (TPP) in the form of crisps or granules. Plant-Meat Protein™ comes in four different types of protein made from Pea, Mung Bean, Fava Bean and Chickpea.

Plant-Meat Protein is exclusively produced from plant-based proteins and biological and non-genetically modified organisms (non-GMO). You might know that GMOs may not be really healthy, but what exactly is it? That’s why we emphasize it again: ‘GMOs are crops that are genetically influenced with the aim of improving certain qualities of a crop. By adding or removing DNA from the original DNA-profile of a specific crop, certain qualities are improved or eliminated, which is fundamentally different from traditional crop breeding.
