What started in Amsterdam in 2021 as an ambitious restaurant concept has quickly evolved into an international hospitality brand. Live-fire cooking concept Nela, founded by chefs Hari Shetty and Ori Geller together with entrepreneur Gilad Hayeem of The Waverly Group, continues its international expansion with a successful first six months in London and the return of Nela Ibiza for a second summer season.

A ‘Live-fire cooking concept’ built around pure ingredients

Since opening its first restaurant in Amsterdam’s Valley Tower South, Nela has earned a strong reputation for its signature live-fire cooking concept, where pure ingredients, innovative techniques, and the power of fire take centre stage. Today, the brand operates in three international destinations: Amsterdam, London, and Ibiza.

Nela London establishes itself among the city’s culinary hotspots in just six months

In September 2025, Nela opened its doors at The Whiteley, one of London’s most prestigious new lifestyle destinations. Just six months later, Nela London has established itself as one of the city’s most talked-about new dining venues.

The menu of Nela London features signature dishes including yellowtail with black truffle, beef ribeye tartare with langoustine, and half lobster with guajillo butter, attracting both London locals and international visitors. The restaurant’s elegant interior, designed by Framework Studio, together with its extensive wine and cocktail programme, has further contributed to its growing popularity.

Nela Ibiza returns for a second season

At the same time, Nela is preparing for its return to Ibiza. Following a successful debut season, Nela Ibiza will once again open its doors at the exclusive 7Pines Resort Ibiza, located on the island’s spectacular west coast.

Throughout the 2026 summer season, guests can once again experience Nela’s signature approach, where Mediterranean ingredients, live-fire cooking, and international influences come together. In collaboration with Executive Chef Óscar Salazar of 7Pines Resort Ibiza, the team presents a menu featuring oysters with fermented chilli, Chilean sea bass with house-made olive oil, yellowtail with black truffle, and half lobster with guajillo butter and mandarin.

Overlooking the Balearic Sea and the iconic Es Vedrà, Nela Ibiza once again promises to be one of the island’s most remarkable culinary destinations.

Continuing international ambitions
