#Escapetrain | Escape room based on the movie Murder On The Orient Express

7-12-2017

The 24th of November the 20th Century Fox movie Murder On The Orient Express premiered in Finland. On December 13, six people will board the train of rail operator VR to travel from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. The trip will last 13-hour, so the players will play an actual escape room game that will last 1000 km!

#Escapetrain

This escape room is inspired by the 20th Century Fox movie Murder On The Orient Express and it’s a  collaboration between rail operator VR and Nordisk Film to promote the new film. The 6 participants will explore themed rooms, interact with actors and try to solve a mystery. All is live streamed so online viewers will be to see the course of events.

Great is the deeper insight of Trendwatching: we aren’t even close to seeing the limits of what consumers will do to out-experience each other.

In 2016 our colleagues of Van Spronsen & Partners hospitality consultancy wrote a whitepaper of the fast developing market of ‘Escape Rooms’ in the Netherlands, more recently about the ‘Family Entertainment Centers’ or sometimes called ‘Leisure Centers’. Unfortunately only written in Dutch. The #Escapetrain is great promotion for Escape Rooms as well, we’re quite sure lots of people haven’t visited an Escape Room yet.
