For example, you can see the following developments: a personal hologram that welcomes you in the lobby, recyclable bath slippers, bactericidal design wallpaper, but also a complete work-out station in the form of an interactive mirror for the hotel room.

The Independent Hotel Show Amsterdam takes place for the second time in RAI Amsterdam. The event, which has been organized in London since 2012, focuses among others on the independent hotelier from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. And there will be a special seven-day ‘Rotterdam Naming Celebration’ cruise that sails roundtrip to Norway.

At December 27 a new crypto-themed restaurant, Crypto Street Restaurant, opened in Clearwater Beach, Florida. The owner of the restaurant created a surrounding which invites his customers to get talking about cryptocurrencies or digital money on a decentralized platform called the blockchain. The art inside this new bistro on the ground level of the Residence Inn by Marriott hotel depicts rocket ships, bitcoin symbols, quotes from Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos and illustrations of the dog meme from dogecoin.
