Domino’s Pizza robots are going to deliver pizzas

Starship Technologies, the company that develops robots that can deliver independent products, has announced that their robots will deliver pizzas in different European cities. This in collaboration with Domino’s Pizza Enterprises (DPE), Domino’s Pizza’s leading franchisee in for example the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The ‘Domino’s Pizza robots’ project is part of the DRU (Domino’s Robotic Unit)-framework, an initiative that works towards the ‘goal’ of delivering pizzas by using robots.

Tante Kee (Aunt Kee) has been open for a month now and yesterday we had the pleasure to experience the dishes of the newly appointed chef Bobby Rust. The restaurant has been given a complete makeover and with Bobby they want to upgrade the culinary standards of the restaurant. The restaurant is located at the picturesque Kaag island between Amsterdam and Rotterdam, you even have to take a short boat trip to reach the restaurant!

The Bowl-Rent is an outdoor, all-weather one-lane bowling alley. The lane is built in such way that it can easily be set-up and removed. The creators guarantee that the bowling lane can be used within an hour. Responsible for the concept, interior design and the graphique design is concrete from Amsterdam.

BCE Bowling introduces a new product to the Dutch bowling market: The mobile bowling alley. The mobile alley consists of loose parts and can be installed in a day. Especially suitable for companies that only have limited space available, but it also might be interesting to fill temporary vacancies in the inner cities: Pop-up Bowling! This trend in bowling is also reflected in the whitepaper ‘The bowling centre in the picture’ about the facts and figures of the Dutch bowling world of our colleagues from Van Spronsen & Partners hospitality consultancy which will be published in May.
Highland Park Bowl | Awesome bowling alley

Highland Park Bowl is known to be “LA’s oldest bowling alley”. The bowling center that originates from 1927, has been completely renovated recently. The 1933 Group, an architect specialized in creating an ancient 20th century atmosphere is responsible for the renovation. The images above show that this company is really specialized in this type of design! We haven’t seen bowling alleys with this type of décor before.

Storage Stool | Smart storage chairs

The Storage Stool, a chair with a compartment for storing your bags or jackets. You have high stools, low stools, bar stools, saddle stools, moveable stools and even bar stools with a backrest. But you can’t store anything in these chairs, Jeroen Speksnijder, owner of interior shop Spoor 38, decided to design one with a storage unit. The result is the Storage Stool, a timeless, robust wooden chair with a metal storage frame. Underneath the seat hangs a metal, extendable basket in which you can store your items, for example, your iPad, computer or handbag, always safe and nearby.
