The Bowl-Rent is an outdoor, all-weather one-lane bowling alley. The lane is built in such way that it can easily be set-up and removed. The creators guarantee that the bowling lane can be used within an hour. Furthermore, the transportable all-weather bowling alley can be set-up at different grounds and can be ordered in different sizes.

Mama Makan is a contemporary Dutch-Indonesian Grand Café that seamlessly integrates with the hotel lobby, connecting travellers with the local residents and the historic context of the neighbourhood (the Plantage neighbourhood in Amsterdam). Mama Makan is a Grand Café that tells a story inspired by its origin with an identity based on pleasant discoveries during the journeys on the ancient trading routes. Responsible for the concept, interior design and the graphique design is concrete from Amsterdam.

BCE Bowling introduces a new product to the Dutch bowling market: The mobile bowling alley. The mobile alley consists of loose parts and can be installed in a day. Especially suitable for companies that only have limited space available, but it also might be interesting to fill temporary vacancies in the inner cities: Pop-up Bowling! This trend in bowling is also reflected in the whitepaper ‘The bowling centre in the picture’ about the facts and figures of the Dutch bowling world of our colleagues from Van Spronsen & Partners hospitality consultancy which will be published in May.
Highland Park Bowl | Awesome bowling alley

Highland Park Bowl is known to be “LA’s oldest bowling alley”. The bowling center that originates from 1927, has been completely renovated recently. The 1933 Group, an architect specialized in creating an ancient 20th century atmosphere is responsible for the renovation. The images above show that this company is really specialized in this type of design! We haven’t seen bowling alleys with this type of décor before.

Storage Stool | Smart storage chairs

The Storage Stool, a chair with a compartment for storing your bags or jackets. You have high stools, low stools, bar stools, saddle stools, moveable stools and even bar stools with a backrest. But you can’t store anything in these chairs, Jeroen Speksnijder, owner of interior shop Spoor 38, decided to design one with a storage unit. The result is the Storage Stool, a timeless, robust wooden chair with a metal storage frame. Underneath the seat hangs a metal, extendable basket in which you can store your items, for example, your iPad, computer or handbag, always safe and nearby.
A rooftop rollerdisco by the Social Fun & Games Club | #rooftoprollers at Roof East

Roof East in East London will be re-opening on the 4th of May for weekday evenings and weekends. This car-park rooftop summer spot is returning for its fourth year. It’s going to host a rooftop rollerdisco (#rooftoprollers at Roof East), a baseball batting cage club, and hip-hop inspired pétanque from De La Bowl. Oh, and crazy golf! All thanks to the Social Fun & Games Club.

In the above video you’re introduced to robot Sally, the robot that makes perfect salads. Artificial intelligence startup Chowbotics Inc. claims that its device can make a salad in less than 60 seconds. Silicon Valley’s newest celebrity chef offers you a choice of 21 ingredients! Robot Sally makes you a proportioned salad through science. Although we experience the concept more like a vending machine than a robot, we really like the idea and think Sally could be an asset to your hotel lobby!
Restaurant Tante Kee | Reopened after a three months renovation

On the 1st of April, Restaurant Tante Kee (aunt Kee) at the Kaag Island in the West of the Netherlands reopened after a three months renovation. Restaurant owners Kim Edwards and Raymond Reeb renewed the restaurant, the terrace, the logo and corporate identity completely. The New chef Bobby Rust and Raymond Reeb have already composed their first menu together. During the renovation social media platforms were used to keep all their guests and those interested informed about new developments.
