Madurodam, the smallest city in the Netherlands, has a new spectacular indoor family attraction and Madurodam Events has two extra spaces for business and private events. The New Amsterdam in Madurodam is the new attraction in a New Amsterdam 17th century decor. With the opening of these special rooms, the number of meeting and private events rooms in Madurodam is ten in total, suitable for groups of 10 to 1,000 persons.
Rocycle | Boutique gym in the Netherlands

At Rocycle’s boutique gyms, you get a full-body workout on a spinning bike in 45 minutes. Unlike other gyms, you can do nothing but spin at Rocycle. The costs are also higher but you’ll have to take in consideration that they will arrange everything for you and that you’ll get training from top instructors. The idea comes from America, where the company SoulCycle has grown into a group of 74 boutique gyms in the recent years.

A large number of ‘bicycles to share’ have recently been placed in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Two weeks ago, hundreds of bicycles of oBike were distributed in Rotterdam. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines offers passengers who visit Amsterdam in September a handy gadget: the KLM Care Tag. The smart audio luggage tag automatically provides visitors with location based verbal tips on how to traverse the city. The specially designed location-aware audio luggage tag consists of an offline GPS module and a speaker. While you’re walking or cycling through the city, it offers the right tip at the right location at the right time. All over Amsterdam, KLM plotted the voice of their caring crew at spots where people can use some extra assistance. A visitor can simply attach the tag to her/his luggage or clothes. Interesting news for your hotel or AirBnB guests.

A big party at the Hard Rock Café in Amsterdam today. In honour of their 46st birthday, guests can order a ‘Local Legendary Burger’ between 11am and 12am for 71 eurocents per burger. Because of the fact that the birthday falls together with Nationale Buitenspeeldag (a day for children to play outside), the café organizes fun outdoor activities for kids such as bite-the-cake with the famous Hard Rock brownies and putting on glitter tattoos.
