Bagels & Beans provides insight into your personal caffeine rhythm
In a time of busy schedules, packed agendas, and an increasing focus on mental balance, more and more people are looking for ways to manage their energy more consciously. Not just to be more productive, but to stay balanced throughout the day. Coffee plays a striking role in this. For many people, it is a fixed moment in the day: the start of the morning, a break in between, or a rhythm that naturally develops. At the same time, nearly half of coffee drinkers say they do this mainly out of habit. This raises the question: what does coffee actually really do to us during the day?
With the Caffeine Compass, Bagels & Beans responds to this development. The app provides insight into how caffeine moves through the body throughout the day and what that means for focus, rest, and natural energy moments. The app shows when caffeine enhances focus, when it is still subtly present in the background, and when it is time to take a break.
From habit to conscious coffee moments
More and more people are taking a more conscious look at their coffee habits. Where coffee was long used mainly as a functional tool to wake up or keep going, the focus is shifting toward balance and intentional choices. For many people, coffee is more than just caffeine. It marks transitions during the day, supports moments of focus or rest, and is also simply a moment to enjoy.
At the same time, the need to make more conscious choices about when and how caffeine is consumed is growing. Alternatives such as matcha, cacao drinks, and low-caf options are gaining popularity. This development fits within a broader movement in which people are becoming more mindful of what they drink and how it affects their energy. The Caffeine Compass aligns with this movement by not replacing coffee, but by helping to better understand the moment. With the Caffeine Compass, Bagels & Beans helps people gain that understanding and make choices that fit their personal rhythm.
How the Caffeine Compass works
Users can easily log their caffeine moments in the app. From cappuccino and espresso to matcha latte. With the press of a button, you add your drink to your caffeine log. Based on these entries, the app builds a personal caffeine profile. The Caffeine Compass translates this data into insight into the effects of caffeine throughout the day: current caffeine intake, expected focus moments, natural energy dips, and how long caffeine remains active in the body.
After a week, users receive a personal profile with a recognizable type, such as strategic sipper, double-shot thinker, or flat white connoisseur. These profiles provide insight into patterns that are often unconscious and make it clear how coffee moments relate to your energy rhythm.
The Caffeine Compass will also be integrated into Bagels & Beans locations
Guests can add their order directly to their daily overview. This turns a coffee moment into not only a moment of enjoyment, but also part of your personal rhythm. A natural connection is created between the in-store experience and the insights in the app. What you drink, when you drink it, and how it influences your day all come together in your personal caffeine overview.
Coming soon
