Anantara launches ‘People Who Inspire’ to mark 25 years of meaningful journeys
As Anantara Hotels & Resorts marks 25 years of meaningful travel, the brand is turning the spotlight to the people who have shaped its story. The new ‘People Who Inspire’ series celebrates the artisans, conservationists, spiritual guides and long-serving hosts whose passion brings each destination to life, reminding travellers that the true essence of luxury lies in human connection.
Opening the series is Yingsuphat “Alex” Wrarapho, the warm-spirited Chief Experience Insider at Anantara Hua Hin Resort, where the brand’s own story began. Khun Alex and Anantara have grown side by side, sharing the warmth of Thailand with travellers from around the world. Anantara is part of the Minor Hotel Group. More details in their press release, link in the title.

Paris celebrates the release of Season 4 of The Bear on Disney+ with a pop-up
To celebrate the release of Season 4 of The Bear on Disney+, the series’ iconic beef sandwich is coming to Paris. On June 27 and 28, from noon to 2:00 pm, fans can enjoy one for free at restaurant Amagat in the city’s 20th arrondissement.
For two days, Amagat will transform into an authentic Chicago-style sandwich shop, giving visitors the chance to taste the legendary beef sandwich that made The Bear famous. Chefs Alex Swieton and Dylan Patel, both from Illinois, will provide a culinary experience inspired by the world of Carmy and his team. A Gouda Cheese Iced Latte by YourCoffeeDude
We love seeing creative food and beverage combinations. While we’ve spotted tea paired with cheese on several occasions, YourCoffeeDude (his Instagram is linked in the title) has taken things a step further by creating a Gouda Cheese Iced Latte.
He developed the drink for the Amsterdam Coffee Festival as part of his Sage x YourCoffeeDude masterclass. (Sage is a manufacturer of premium coffee machines.) Curious to try it yourself? Leave a comment on the reel below to receive the full recipe, which includes freeze-dried Gouda cheese.

Gucci Beach Club takes over La Rose des Vents in Monaco
One of Monaco’s most iconic beach clubs, La Rose des Vents, has received a colourful Gucci makeover and we love these luxury brand takeovers. Inspired by Gucci’s iconic Flora motif, the beach club has been transformed into a vibrant Riviera escape filled with floral details and the brand’s signature aesthetic.
We’ve seen similar collaborations before, including beach club takeovers by Louis Vuitton and Dioriviera, but they continue to inspire. Could local brands create their own distinctive beach club experiences? Check out the reel below by Vlad StarBoy for a closer look. The website of La Rose des Vents is linked in the title.

Are mini cocktails becoming a trend?
We love the idea of serving mini cocktails, like the mini Espresso Martini featured in the reel linked in the title. We spotted it at L’Antica Enoteca in Rome, and it immediately caught our attention. It could even inspire a mini cocktail flight, allowing guests to sample several different cocktails in one sitting. We think it’s a fun concept that could work well in bars and restaurants looking to offer something a little different. If you’re serving mini cocktails in the Netherlands, we’d love to come by and try them!
Barista Cafe continues to expand to 30 branches in the Netherlands
In the first four months of 2026, Barista Cafe opened five new branches, including in Groningen, Rotterdam, Woerden and Drachten. With the opening in Weesp, the chain has grown to around thirty locations in the Netherlands. Whilst many hospitality chains focus primarily on the Randstad, Barista Cafe has opted for a broader nationwide presence. Further growth is on the agenda, but it will be managed carefully and with a focus on quality.
Effium | This pan uses the thermodynamic principles of rocket engines
What began as a source of frustration in a student kitchen grew into an innovative pan. Effium, a European start-up founded by a TU Delft alumnus, developed a pan inspired by the thermodynamic principles of rocket engines. Thanks to a patented fin structure on the base, heat from the gas hob is utilised more efficiently, with up to twice the heat absorption. The result: up to 50% less gas consumption, cooking times up to 35% shorter and better searing performance. Professional chefs are also noticing the difference: Michelin-starred chef Jan van Dobben tested the pan and now uses it as part of the daily service in his restaurant.
Who will be the bagel boss in Zutphen?
Do you dream of running your own catering business in the heart of Zutphen, in the Netherlands? Then the Bagels & Beans open day on 29 June is a great opportunity to find out more about the franchise concept and the new branch on Beukerstraat. Bagels & Beans is still looking for an entrepreneur for this special location in the historic centre. The listed corner building is situated amongst shops, outdoor cafés and the daily flow of residents, visitors and tourists. The programme starts at 4.01 pm with an information session at the Broederenklooster, Rozengracht 3, Zutphen. This will be followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of the premises.
