Luxury Hot Dog in New York | Jean-Georges Vongerichten serves street food at The Mark hotel
Outside the iconic The Mark Hotel, top chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten isn’t serving fine dining, but a hotdog. It sounds basic, but the twist is in the details: kimchi relish and chipotle aioli take this classic to the next level as a snack. High-end hospitality that embraces street food – accessible, quick and with a signature touch; luxury without barriers. A few years ago, we wrote about the langoustine sausages and Wagyu burgers by chef Schilo van Coevorden of the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam. Even on the Upper East Side, it’s no longer just about exclusivity, but about an experience that surprises. The hotel’s website is linked in the title. If you’re heading to New York: a great way to try a dish by this chef!

WOLF is bringing Marius Ritiu’s installation to Antwerp Art Weekend
During Antwerp Art Weekend (14–17 May), WOLF Food Market will present a new installation by Marius Ritiu at their location in the Felix Pakhuis. The skylight area will be transformed into a floating sculptural landscape entitled “My boat is bent, this stairway leads to heaven and I swing on meteoric dreams”. Three monumental, hand-hammered copper works hang in the space, appearing weightless. Ritiu, who previously co-designed WOLF’s iconic gold bars with Lionel Jadot, explores gravity and spatiality here. With this installation, WOLF underscores its role as a meeting place where gastronomy and contemporary art converge.

Épices Roellinger | Spices for foodies
Many, many years ago, I ate the best John Dory fish ever in Cancale made by chef Olivier Roellinger. I took some of the chefs spices home and loved to cook with them. Now you can also buy his spices at Épices Roellinger in Paris at rue Sainte-Anne or rue Saint-Antoine. The spices are created by Olivier Roellinger, a 3 Michelin star chef. Each blend is crafted like a perfume, layered, precise, and designed to transform even the simplest meal into something unforgettable. They also have stores in Cancale and Saint-Malo and authorized retailers all over France and even one in the UK and in San Francisco. Spotted at the Instagram account of Paris by Ana, you will find the website of Épices Roellinger in the link in the title. Thank you Ana for bringing it to our attention! ^Marjolein
