The new Dutch brand Bo&Co is introducing a range of locally produced organic syrups, developed for professional use in the hospitality and retail sectors. The brand is launching with five flavours: Lemon, Strawberry, Raspberry, Lemongrass–Ginger and Elderflower, made with carefully selected organic ingredients. The official market launch of Bo&Co will take place during Horecava 2026.

Bo&Co syrups have been developed for a wide range of applications within professional beverage and food service concepts. The brand is thus responding to the growing demand for clean label and transparently produced products within the hospitality and retail sectors.

The role of syrups is changing in bars and restaurants. In addition to classic applications, there is a growing demand for conscious and alcohol-free beverage concepts, with a focus on taste, appearance and flexibility. Bo&Co is responding to this development with a range that can be used at different times of the day, from lunch to evening.

“Bo&Co was born out of my personal conviction that quality, attention and conscious choices make all the difference,” says Karin Gefken, founder of the brand. ‘In my work in the hospitality and retail sectors, I saw how important taste, appearance and flexibility are. With Bo&Co, we wanted to translate that vision into a syrup brand that fits in with today’s drinking habits and that has been developed for professional use and a wide range of applications.’

Developed based on experience in the food sector

Bo&Co was developed by entrepreneur Karin Gefken, who is active in the agricultural and food sector and has extensive experience with organic products in the hospitality and retail industries. That experience forms the basis for the syrups brand as an independent Dutch brand. The initial range consists of the five organic syrup flavours listed above.

The syrups are suitable for both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages and are offered in a glass bottle containing 500 ml of syrup, tailored for professional use. The brand is available at Sligro, Hanos and VHC Jongens.
