On January 17 & 18, during the Mastercard Hotelnacht (Hotel Night) Amsterdam, the city will revolve around wellness, energy and unique hotel experiences. During Mastercard Hotelnacht, the most beautiful hotels in the city open their doors to residents of Amsterdam, offering a weekend full of one-night-only experiences. Visitors from outside Amsterdam can also take part in the experiences. The 2026 edition is all about The Art of Balance: the perfect mix of wellness and celebration, calm and excitement – in true Amsterdam style. Hotelnacht is the perfect opportunity for residents of Amsterdam and other curious visitors to experience the city in a completely new way.

The Art of Balance | Wellness, fun & celebration
During the weekend of 17 & 18 January 2026, Amsterdam transforms into a sparkling hotel paradise. This wellness-focused edition of Mastercard Hotelnacht is entirely dedicated to balance between body, mind and party spirit. During the day, visitors can choose from an extensive programme of relaxing and energising activities. Think of a daytime bakery rave at the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel, techno therapy by This is Eden at nhow Amsterdam RAI, or a run club by Technogym starting and finishing at Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky.
For those seeking more tranquillity, there are Qi Gong sessions at the Apollo Hotel, sound healing experiences at Hotel & Wellness Zuiver and Hotel Jakarta, floating yoga on the water, and workshops focused on sleep, detox and focus. Creative workshops are also part of the programme, including portrait drawing at Tivoli Doelen and a Paint, Sip & Sail experience.
From Zen to Mayhem
As evening falls, zen moments make way for festive energy. Hotels transform into unique party venues, including the rooftop party From Zen to Mayhem at Hotel Jakarta, dance nights at Pulitzer’s Bar, Apollo Hotel and Renaissance Amsterdam, and, as a grand finale, the mysterious HELLNESS Unofficial After-party in the new basement club of Hotel The Diamond.

Visitors can choose between a hotel package (overnight stay + festival passes, available only to residents of Amsterdam) or individual tickets for activities and parties. Overnight stays are exclusively for Amsterdam residents. Individual tickets are ideal for those who don’t stay overnight but still want to fully enjoy one or more activities or parties. Visitors of the city can also purchase tickets for events during the Mastercard Hotelnacht.
